RN, Charleston Plastic Surgery

Charleston Plastic Surgery, a division of Charleston ENT & Allergy, is the oldest plastic surgery practice in Charleston, offering patients a full range of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery services. CPS has an immediate opening for an experienced RN. An integral part of this busy practice, our RNs are imperative to the clinic operations running smoothly by assisting in day to day clinic operations, assisting our surgeon with patient consultations, triaging patients, and ensuring that the clinic environment is sterile and safe for all our patients and staff members. Our RNs are the glue that holds this busy practice together! We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills, time management, and someone who is willing to jump in as needed and wear many hats to support the clinic.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the surgeon consulting with patients regarding surgical and non-surgical procedures.
  • Coordinate clinic & preoperative activities.
  • Perform all aspects of clinic & preoperative care in an environment that optimizes patient safety.
  • Adhere to medical record documentation.
  • Review / revise all patient education materials as needed.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn OR procedures, sterile technique, and universal precautions.
  • Review charts and documentation

CPS Esthetician/Patient Engagement Specialist

We have a very unique opportunity for an esthetician who is looking to grow their experience level in aesthetic services, as well as, build their resume and skill set with cosmetic surgery office knowledge. Charleston Plastic Surgery is currently searching for a licensed esthetician to fill a position of aesthetic service provider/patient engagement specialist (front/office admin) hybrid. The position will be part time with the potential to move into full time.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to create and maintain a professional and positive work environment
  • Ability to adapt to the unpredictable
  • Desire to work in a collaborative environment that values individual contributions and celebrates team success.
  • Experience using Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Teams is a plus, as well as, NextGen systems, LeadingReach, and Rhinogram- we love technology!
  • Customer service or direct patient care experience
  • Previous experience/knowledge of Obagi, Jane Iredale, and Tizo skincare products is a plus (must possess the ability to offer professional skincare consults)
  • Performance of professional aesthetic services within scope of practice and licensing, based on patient’s individual needs.

Charleston Plastic Surgery, a division of Charleston ENT & Allergy, has an immediate opening for a talented Receptionist. An ideal fit for an organized customer service star with an interest in skincare and cosmetics, this unique position combines the responsibilities of front desk receptionist, medical appointment follow-up and cosmetics. From managing patient check-in and check-out processes, to scheduling, this position is the go-to for all patient questions and concerns and is ultimately responsible for setting a warm and welcoming tone for our patients.
